King University

Welcome to King University, home of the Dreamers! King University is an initiative of K.O.P.E, Inc. whose mission is to enroll all members of the local, national and international community into the nonviolent school of thought. Students will be introduced to the three major tenets of the nonviolent philosophy and educated on how to make nonviolence not only a choice, but a lifestyle! King University challenges it's students by first posing a simple question: How nonviolent are you? Once the student begins to answer this question he/she will be compelled to delve deeper into the nonviolent philosophy. In doing so, the student finds there are many areas of one's character and commitment that must be explored before the answer becomes "yes". Our vision at King University is to reintroduce nonviolence as an effective means of conflict resolution and to produce leaders of all ages that might carry the message  abroad.
